Voluntary Disclosure Reminder for all Taxpayers, and any persons renting out or leasing out properties

The Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) introduced the Voluntary Disclosure Program (VDP) through Public Notice 25 of 2026 and subsequently extended the initiative to 30 September 2026 through Public Notice 42 of 2026.

Under this program, taxpayers can revisit their tax affairs, correct past mistakes or omissions and regularise their tax affairs. Any person with taxes due is permitted to negotiate payment arrangements.

Where full and truthful disclosures are made, the Commissioner shall waive the penalties in full, and such disclosure shall not trigger an audit or prosecution but interest shall apply as provided by law.
