Finance Act (No. 3) which was enacted by Parliament on 31 December 2019 puts into law the proposals made by the Minister of Finance and Economic Development in his 2020 budget statement. While not many changes have been made from the budget proposals, this newsletter seeks to highlight the proposals that were enacted into law. This newsletter covers amendments to various taxes pronounced in Statutory Instruments 280 of 2019, 281 of 2019, 282 of 2019, 283 of 2019 and 285 of 2019.
